• Local processing: All QR code scanning and QR code generation are done entirely on your device.
• Temporary storage:
  • Image URLs to be scanned are stored temporarily in local storage and immediately deleted after use
  • Recent scan results are saved locally only for display when you reopen the extension
• Your QR code generation preferences such as colors, styles, and error‑correction levels are saved locally for convenience
• Custom uploaded icons for QR codes are stored locally in your browser
